Going to the hospital can be a stressful time. The COVID-19 crisis is not helping our health. What if you leave the hospital and do not have a place to go? What if you do not have someone who can help you? To assist members, Kern Family Health Care (KFHC) has partnered with one of our providers to offer respite and recuperative care. Members can request this service after a hospital stay or emergency room visit. The center will offer a safe place for members to recover with the help of caregivers. The staff there can also help link you to services in your area. They can help connect you with housing, food, and other needs.
