GET Bus offers KFHC members a new way to get to medical visits!

Kern Family Health Care (KFHC) has teamed up with Golden Empire Transit (GET) to give our members more ways to get to their medical visits.

This new service includes:

New clean vans.
Curb-to-curb pick-up and drop-off.
Wheelchair accessibility.
No cost to KFHC members.
Safe rides with trained GET drivers.
Rides within Bakersfield.

The service is up-to-date with COVID-19 social distancing and cleaning guidelines—please remember to wear your face mask!

Am I eligible to ride one of the GET Bus vans?

You can if you:

Are a member of KFHC.
Need transportation to a Medi-Cal covered service.

To schedule a ride to your medical visit, call the KFHC Transportation Department at 800-391-2000 and press option 3. We will help you get to your medical visit on time!
