FREE COVID-19 and Flu Vaccinations Clinic this Saturday in Bakersfield

Bakersfield, CA: Kern Family Health Care (KFHC), along with Kern Medical, the Kern County Latino COVID-19 Task Force and Kern County Public Health Services Department, will be hosting a FREE COVID-19 and Flu Vaccinations Clinic this Saturday, November 13, 2021. Those who get vaccinated at the event will receive tacos, a churro, $25 gift card (only those who get a COVID-19 shot), and giveaways from KFHC as we celebrate our 25th Anniversary.

“California is starting to see an uptick in positive COVID-19 cases, especially in Kern County and the Central Valley. We have the means to end this pandemic and move our community health and economy in the right direction,” says Jay Tamsi, Co-Founder of the Kern County Latino COVID-19 Task Force. “The holidays are approaching, people will want to gather and as they do, they need to keep themselves and their loved ones healthy. The booster shot is another way to do this for fully vaccinated individuals.”

“Kern Family Health Care is proud to support the efforts of the Kern County Latino COVID-19 Task Force, along with local health care providers like Kern Medical and the Kern County Public Health Services Department, to get our community vaccinated,” said Doug Hayward, Kern Health Systems Chief Executive Officer. “Thus, we are excited to host another vaccination clinic at our building for Kern Family Health Care members and the community at large as we break down barriers together and get more people vaccinated.”
