Description: Under general supervision, provide primary reception and member services duties over the telephone and/or in person and perform data entry support to Member Services and other departments as assigned by the Member Services Supervisor.
Requirements: High School diploma from an accredited school or equivalent. One (1) year of receptionist related experience, which has included both telephone and public contact. Typing skills 45 NWM (certificate required) within one year of issuance; data entry skills. Bilingual Preferred. Proper telephone technique and etiquette; proper English grammar; good public relations practices; general office practices; some medical background experience desired, preferably HMO. MS Word and Excel. Ability to communicate effectively and professionally in person and over the telephone; obtain information; ascertain the needs of the client, and direct the client to the proper person; follow both oral and written instructions; spell correctly and write legibly; always present him or herself in a professional manner.
