Description: Under minimal supervision, the Project Coordinator provides the Project Management department with project management assistance and support at the direction of the Chief Information Officer. The Project Coordinator performs a variety of operational support and project management duties. The position requires knowledge of accepted principles and practices of business administration, resource management, and project management practices. The incumbent has the ability to gather and analyze data; prepare clear and concise reports and correspondence; understand data analysis; and capable of drawing sound conclusions. The Project Coordinator must have the ability to work well and communicate with people of various professional, vocational and educational backgrounds.
Requirements: Associates degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Information Systems or related field from an accredited school or equivalent; with one (1) year of experience in Project Management or related field. Must have at least two (2) years of paid work experience. Education can be substituted with general accounting or administrative support work experience on a year for year basis. Possession of valid California Driver’s License and proof of valid State required auto liability insurance. Required Travel Up to 10%.
