Programmer IV


Description: The Programmer IV is the most senior level technical position that mentors, delivers guidance and training, provides oversight, and performs technical reviews of the teamís development and analytic work.† The Programmer IV will lead a remote development team while locally performing complex and critical design of systems, software application development, technical documentation, application deployment, and process improvement of critical business processes in collaboration or through leading the MIS Technical Analysts, business management, or its designees in the systems design and application architecture.† This position will lead efforts and activities in direct support of KHS goals and initiatives such as technical discussion and system process design; works individually or as a team lead in analytics, development of code, testing, application production support, coding standards, and other work as required.† This Programmer IV provides team leadership, establishes technical standards for the development team, and works closely with the management team to continuously refine the KHS project management and Agile development methodology, procedures, and policies in order to promote efficiency and productivity.† The incumbent is responsible for the overall design, and implementation of software development for KHS, and will assist the business project owner, or MIS Project Manager, in project design, tracking, and timely project delivery.† The Programmer IV will provide problem resolution of software applications, analytical reports, bugs, and other work as required.

Requirements: Bachelorís degree in Computer Science from an accredited university or equivalent related field and six (6) years of progressive programming or application development experience in a medium to large environment using Microsoft Studio, C#.NET, MSSQL, and relevant tools.† Education can be substituted with Programming work experience on a year for year basis.† The Programmer IV position is suited for the mid-career to advanced career person.† Proficiency must be demonstrated in software development using Polymorphism and Microsoft technologies.† MCPD preferred. Candidate must be a highly organized individual Possession of valid driverís license and proof of State required auto liability insurance. Required Travel Up to 10%
